What types of sessions do you offer and what are the rates?

  • Individual Counselling: $125 per 50-minute session

  • Foster Parent Counselling: $140 per 50-minute session (for two individuals; can also be booked individually)

 

 How long are sessions and where are they held?

  • Sessions are 50 minutes long

  • Virtual sessions are conducted via a secure, PHIPPA-compliant platform

  • In-person sessions are available on Thursdays at Wesley Street, Downtown Nanaimo

  • Longer sessions: Available upon request, please inquire to discuss options

What are your office hours?

  • Virtual: Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM PST

  • In-office: Thursdays, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST

Who can attend sessions?

  • I provide counselling for individuals aged 16 and older

​

Do you offer direct billing for insurance?

  • Not at this time

  • Receipts are provided for you to submit for reimbursement through your insurance provider

What are your professional qualifications?

  • Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors

  • Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association

  • Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Yorkville University

  • Bachelor of Social Work, specializing in Indigenous Child Welfare, University of Victoria

What payment methods do you accept?

  • Interac e-Transfer

  • Mastercard

  • Visa

What is your cancellation policy?

  • Please cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment

  • Late cancellations or missed sessions:

    • Half session fee for late cancellations

    • Flexibility may be offered for emergencies, discussed on a case-by-case basis

Do you provide emergency services?

  • No, all services are by appointment only

  • Immediate support: Vancouver Island Crisis Line, 24/7 – 1-888-494-3888, British Columbia, Call or text 9-8-8, Call 310-6789

  • If there is immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, please call 911
