Individual Counselling

Life can start to feel heavy in ways that are hard to explain.

You may look like you're holding everything together on the outside, while inside feeling overwhelmed, anxious or disconnected.

Counselling offers a space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and begin moving toward change.

If any of this feels familiar, you're not alone - and you're not broken.

You Might Be Experiencing:

  • Anxiety or ongoing stress that feels hard to quiet

  • Depression or loss of motivation and energy

  • Difficulty with boundaries or boundary setting in relationships

  • Patterns of codependency or overextending yourself for others

  • Ongoing family conflict or complicated family dynamics

  • Challenges in peer relationships or romantic partnerships

  • Communication struggles that leave you feeling unheard

  • Questions around self-esteem and self-worth

  • The emotional weight of grief or unresolved loss

  • Major life transitions

Together We Can:

  • Understand pattens that once helped you cope but no longer serve you

  • Strengthen communication and build healthier boundaries

  • Develop practical coping tools for depression, anxiety, stress, overwhelm

  • Explore family and relationship dynamics with clarity and compassion

  • Build a stronger, more grounded sense of self

Walk & Talk Therapy:

For some clients, movement and being outdoors can support emotional regulation, reflection, and therapeutic engagement. Walk-and-talk sessions offer the opportunity to receive counselling while walking in a natural outdoor setting in Nanaimo. This service may be particularly beneficial for individuals who find it difficult to sit in a traditional office setting, behind a computer, or who feel more comfortable talking while moving.
